In a relatively weak wide receiver class in the 2023 NFL Draft, Zay Flowers stands out in our opinion. You can find our full breakdown on youtube here
Flowers stands out in multiple areas compared to his peers. For one, he is one of, if not the best route runners in this class. He has a diverse route tree that enabled him to win deep, short, and especially in the red zone with double moves.

Despite his smaller size, he plays with a lot of strength and pushes through contact before and after the catch. Based on film study, we feel he actually plays stronger than Quinten Johnston which is shocking but true. We do not have concerns of him beating the press due to strength and impressive release as well. Flowers is very adept at tracking passes and going up and getting the jump ball.

He is on par or better in route running and hands with Jaxon Smith Njigba, but he is a far superior athlete. Flowers also offers a ton after the catch that JSN and Addison do not.

It is with all of these factors that we believe Zay Flowers is the clear cut WR1 in the 2023 NFL Draft.
