NFL Free Agency 2023 Day 2 Signings

With day 1 in the books, NFL Free Agency 2023 Day 2 is now underway (some of these are from late night day 1)

Vikings sign Marcus Davenport

1 year deal, is this the signal that Zadarius Smith out?

Byron Murphy is on the Vikings

2 years, $22 million… What a steal, one of the best contracts in free agency

Colts sign Matt Gay

This contract is ridiculous, why would the Colts do this

Colts sign Samson Ebukam

Curious signing for Indy, we do not hate it but also do not love it.

Lions sign David Montgomery

3 years, $18 million with $11 million guaranteed… It is a shame for Jamaal Williams, as he was one of the most loved players in Detroit. That being said, we do like the signing.

Eagles resign James Bradberry

3 years, $38 million for the corner. We wonder if Slay is still on the trade block, but it is likely this signing came at the expense of CJ Gardner Johnson (whom we would have prioritized).

Larry Ogunjobi resigns with Pittsburgh Steelers

3 years, $28.75 million

Eagles signing Rashaad Penny

1 year, $1.35 million… Could be a great back for Philly to get 10 ish carries a game

Allen Lazard signs with Jets

Rodgers list of wishes (demands) kicks off with this signing before he even is officially traded. 4 years, $44 million for Lazard

Kyzir White to the Cardinals

2 years, $10 million… A good veteran linebacker (who is still young) for Arizona. White follows Gannon to Arizona.

Andrew Wingard resigns with Jacksonville

3 years, $9.6 million base with a chance to make $13.8 million and guaranteed $6 million… An underrated late round find from Jacksonville is brought back

Falcons signing Kaden Ellis

Quietly had 7 sacks and 78 tackles last year as Atlanta looks to solve their pass rushing woes

Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson resigning with the Dolphins

Mostert’s contract is 2 years, worth up to $7.6 million. Wilson’s contract is 2 years, worth up to $8.2 million… We expect Miami to bring in a younger back in the draft, but Mostert should be great for the 4 full weeks he is healthy this year and Wilson should be a nice piece in the rotation

Cowboys resigning Donovan Wilson

3 years, up to $24 million with $13.5 million(first 2 years) guaranteed

Falcons signing Taylor Heinicke

2 years, up to $20 million… A high end backup in Atlanta who can mentor Ridder and push him slightly

Jakobi Meyers signs with the Raiders

3 years, $33 million with $21 million guarnteed… It is unsure what this means for Hunter Renfrow (who we have the Raiders trading at some point this offseason).

Noah Brown signing with the Texans

1 year, $2.6 million

Broncos sign Zach Allen

Denver continues to spend addressing positions of need. Zach Allen fills a very similar roll that Dre’Mont Jones held last year.

Seahawks sign Dre’Mont Jones

3 years, $51 million for the versatile defensive lineman. We had Seattle taking Bryan Bresee in the draft, but they get a very similar player in free agency filling a massive need.

Bears sign Demarcus Walker

Chargers sign Eric Kendricks

2 years, $13.25 million… What a steal

Vikings resigning Garrett Bradbury

3 years, $15.75 million

Titans signing Azeez Al-Shaair, Luke Gifford

Gifford contract 2 years, $4 million
