When Detroit traded up to land Jameson Williams, it felt as though the missing piece was being dropped into the Lion offense. His game changing speed and route running was supposed to pair greatly with Amon Ra St Brown. With news breaking that Willaims is going to miss the rest of the preseason with a hamstring injury, the brutal start to his career grows.
The latest injury is added to a list that includes his gambling suspension, and recovery from torn ACL in college as to why he has or will have missed time. Williams can be a legit threat when on the field (we saw this in his limited action last year), but already his availability is extremely spotty. We really hope he can turn this around and become a what is and not a what if for the Detroit Lions.
