Jurkovec is a name most college football fans have heard for years. Despite having some pretty good weapons at Boston College, his performance has been underwhelming. In fact, his total career stats over 5 seasons (granted not all were spent starting) are not much better than Anthony Richardson’s lone starting season last year. He now is a transfer at Pitt where Kedon Slovis (a far superior prospect in our opinion) struggled due to lack of weapons and a bad offensive line. Jurkovec does progress through his reads effectively and has a good arm, but he also has a hitchy motion and really struggles in pressure. It is also worth noting he was not even the best looking QB at the Pitt spring game, and we predict there is a shot that fellow transfer, Christian Veilleux, could end up beating him out for the starting job.
