Marvin Harrison Jr Summary:
The Positives
- Great size
- Very sudden with releases off the line
- Fights through press and contact
- High points the ball
- Borderline elite athleticism for size
The Negatives
- Pretty average after the catch as far as making people miss (though by no means is he awful)
The hype is real with Marvin Harrison Jr, and it is wild to say this as he feels like the most hyped receiver in quite some time. He has elite size and athleticism to match, with great hands and a blend of physicality/speed that makes him very difficult to gameplan for. The only real knock is that he is average after the catch, but even that may be nitpicking. He is likely a top 5 pick and has the makings to be a major factor right away. We have him compared to DT, who was one of the leagues best with a great 5 year stretch. The late Thomas broke down with injuries, but otherwise could have been on a crazy trajection and had a career reminiscent of (as well as Harrison if he stays healthy) Andre Johnson.
