Kamari Lassiter Player Summary:

The  Positives

  • Likes to hit, shows he can be aggressive
  • Footwork and ability to break is pretty good
  • Reads field well
  • Works through traffic well
  • Team truly means everything to him
    • Didn’t play(coaches choice), but didn’t opt out of Orange Bowl
    • Thought about coming back before Kirby Smart talked him out of it. Told him he has nothing left to prove and we would agree
  • Ability to play inside or out
  • QBs didn’t like to throw his way
    • Except Devin Leary. Leary kept trying to go after him and got all of one completion

The Negatives

  • Block shedding needs work
  • Hard to gauge his speed
    • 4.5 range a hair slower than we would’ve thought, but not bad by any stretch of the imagination for Lassiter

Kamari Lassiter is going to make one NFL team very happy in April. Lassiter is one heck of a player and more importantly a leader and has a team first mentality. Lass has some things to work on, particularly block shedding, but overall is a sound prospect. His speed is hard to gauge, but it doesn’t stop him from playing aggressive and in your face.

      • Will confirm or deny after combine
        • Hip tightness is definitely not an issue after watching his drill work at the Combine
