Verse is a name that has been in the first round conversation for years. Unfortunately we do not quite see that. The technical aspects of being a pass rusher are all there. He possesses different moves and counter moves, but lacks the burst to truly capitalize on it and chase players down. You routinely see a successful spin move but the o lineman being able to keep up and move with him. He is reminiscent of Carl Lawson. Another pass rusher who lacks the super high end traits to be elite, but possesses the technical skill and strength to make up for it to an extent.
