DJ Uiagalelei Player Summary:
The Positives
- Strong arm
- Decent athletic/size profile
The Negatives
- Very long throwing motion
- Got replaced for Cade Klubnik
- Does not appear to have made many positive strides in development
It is quite the fall from grace that Uiagalelei has had. Going from the next man up after Trevor Lawrence and being the second QB in his recruiting class (ahead of guys like Stroud), to having to transfer to Oregon State. His motion is brutally long, but he does possess a great combination of size and athleticism that not a ton of QBs have. He is a major project as it stands right now, but would possess a lot of upside considering where he will likely be drafted.
