Cameron Ward Player Summary:

The  Positives

  • Motion is quick
  • Decent Arm (though not special)
  • Functional athlete

The Negatives

  • Very low arm slot
  • Drifts back instead of staying in the pocket
  • Accuracy is inconsistent

Cam Ward may have the lowest arm slot we have ever seen at the quarterback position. It almost looks like he is submarining it. This is on all throws too not just off platform plays like NFL QBs make. He has a decent arm and functional athleticism, but his motion will need a complete overhaul and we are not sure there is enough there to warrant more than a day 3 project pick.
