CFB Spotlight: Bo Nix and the Ducks Derail Colorado Momentum

Before discussing the brilliant performance by Bo Nix and Oregon, I want to discuss the Buffalos. It was a rough loss, but I have always felt that this team was and will be a 2 year plan. The first year Deion has the team competing and gets more recruits and coaches to buy in. It already seems to be working as Warren Sapp will reportedly be joining the Buffalo staff in 2024. Either way the season is already a success for Colorado and we do not expect anyone that can return (including Shedeur) to do so and not declare for the draft.

Now on to the Oregon Ducks. The defense was lights out especially the pass rush. They should climb up the AP rankings as well as our own. The offense was led by a brilliant performance from Bo Nix. He is one of our top quarterbacks for the 2024 draft, and showed a lot here. He was extremely efficient, completing 28 of his 33 passes. He threw 3 touchdowns and ran for 1 more, with his only mistake being a great play interception by Jahquez Robinson. Nix was our dark horse for the Heisman, and while he has not had the gaudy numbers of someone like Michael Penix, he has been extremely efficient and has his draft stock on the rise.
