Best Contracts from 2024 NFL Free Agency

Free agency has begun winding down, and we are covering the best contracts from 2024 NFL Free Agency. There is a decent amount of 1 year deals, but we view getting meaningful contributions for affordable deals as the best contracts.

Russel Wilson (1 Year/ $1.21 Million with Steelers)

Does this count since Wilson is getting paid by Denver? Either way it is hard to imagine any team needing a QB or competition not paying under $2 million for a former pro bowler.

Zack Moss (2 Years/ $8 Million with Bengals)

The Bengals traded Mixon away, and are replacing him for cheaper. Last year Moss looked very good in relief of Jonathan Taylor. Now, he should pair with Chase Brown to have a good running back committee.

Donovan Peoples Jones (1 Year/ $1.3 Million with Lions)

To be honest, there are not a lot of wide receiver contracts from this free agency. With Josh Reynolds departing, the WR3 spot is open. Peoples-Jones has flashed upside, and could be a big contributor for the Lions for very little money.

Mike Gesicki (1 Year/ $2.5 Million with Bengals)

Gesicki did not take off in New England like people thought. However, that offense was a mess. In Cincy, he could be the TE1 on a very favorable deal.

Isaiah Wynn (1 Year/ $1.885 Million with Dolphins)

Wynn has been injured for the last 2 seasons, but he is a capable starter. If he starts this season, the Dolphins will have a starting lineman for an insane price.

Nick Allegretti (3 Years/ $16 Million with Commanders)

Allegretti flashed glimpses of being very good for the Chiefs. However, even if he is just a decent starter, he is an upgrade for Washington with an affordable price.

Josh Uche (1 Year/ $3 Million with Patriots)

Uche’s production took a step back, but his upside is still there. He had 11.5 sacks the year prior in a part time pass rushing role. For 3 million, Uche could pay off in dividends for New England.

DJ Wonnum (2 Years/ $12.5 Million with Panthers)

The Panthers watched the Giants shell out for Brian Burns, and replaced him for $22 million less per year. Wonnum had 62 tackles last year with 8 sacks, and could be the best contract to come out of this free agency.

Devin Bush (1 Year/ $1.5 Million with the Browns)

The Browns could have gotten a starting linebacker for 1.5 million. Bush filled in at the end of the season for Seattle and performed well. Linebacker is being devalued, and even still they got an amazing deal here.

Amik Robertson (2 Years/ $9.25 Million with the Lions)

Detroit needed a lot of help at corner, and they addressed it in many different ways. The best one, in our opinion, was this signing with Amik Robertson.

Kamren Curl (2 Years/ $9 Million with Rams)

Curl had 115 tackles last year, and has had good production ever since joining the league. Curl was an amazing sign for the Rams for a team that does its best to be cheap in the secondary.
