Could Dorian Thompson Robinson be a Star for the Cleveland Browns

Through 2 games, Dorian Thompson Robinson has looked to be a stud for the Cleveland Browns and an absolute steal from the draft. He has been electric, going a combined 17 of 21 for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. He has not thrown an interception. He has been the most impressive rookie QB by a mile and seems like he could be putting a wrench in the Browns’ future plans.

We are going to tip our cap on this one. Because even though it is the preseason, DTR still looks like the best player period thus far. We had him graded as a 2nd round prospect which you can see his full draft profile here. We had him comped to Jalen Hurts for both his skill set and his leadership, and early returns suggest we could have been correct. Again, this is the preseason so not a ton of stock can be put into performances good or bad. But DTR looks special so far and should easily win the backup job from Mond and Dobbs. If Watson were to struggle for any reason and not return to form, we could see a scenario much like Hurts and Wentz in Philly where the team rallies behind the young leader vs the established vet.
