We had this pick mocked for months. Darius Robinson wass undervalued in the draft circuit, but it is more so about his fit in Gannon’s defense. Gannon comes from Philly where he repeatedly ran a 3-4 base defense with athletic pass-rushing backers and DE/DT hybrid players that can play all along the line. In Philly, he had guys like Jordan Davis, Milton Williams, and Fletcher Cox who were bigger players but with athleticism to still play the end. In steps Robinson, who is a slim 286 pounds and a great athlete for his size. He should start at the end and can kick into the tackle spot on sub packages. We see him as having the upside of someone like Cam Heyward or Cam Jordan, and Arizona hit two homeruns with their first round picks.
