Despite being added to our “Scout Post-Combine” list, we never got around to Christian Mahogany. We didn’t actually know anything about the Mahogany-Lions fit until we heard Mahogany described as “having some asshole in him”. On that one little tad bit of information alone, we can call him a Dan Campbell type of player.

Mahogany is 100% going to make the roster, but unless there’s injury don’t expect him to start as a rookie. Graham Glasgow just got extended by the Lions for 3 years, but he’s 31. Kevin Zeitler, who’s 34, just got signed to a one year deal by the Lions to replace Jonah Jackson. Zeitler is still playing high level football. Mahogany we expect will be the immediate backup to both, but in the meantime he gets time to sit and develop so that when the time comes he’s ready to take over and bite knee caps.
