The overall opinion of the Broncos reaching far for Bo Nix is puzzling. Now, true, this is social media we are talking about where people say whatever they want and just restate others words as their own. Nix is everything Sean Payton has had success with as a head coach. He is accurate, has a strong arm, and is smart. On top of this, Nix is a good athlete who throws on the run well. Despite what the discourse overall seems to be, Nix very much was deserving of a first round selection. It just so happens that he went to the perfect team to maximize his skill set as he will maximize Payton’s vision. If Nix works out (which we think he will), revisionist history will say it was Payton making it work. But, we see Nix as the most Day 1 ready QB (not named Caleb Williams) and truly the second best QB in this class. He likely starts from the get go and does not look back.
