| 1 | Darius Robinson | 6'5 | 285 | 71% | Ceiling Comp: Cam Heyward Floor Comp: Arik Armstead | It is hard to find a definitive answer on how old Robinson is, but the film shows a player that could start sooner rather than later. Some places have him at 22, others 23. Either way he is a tad on the older side, but needs less development than others in this class. He has a signature rip move that is very effective, and uses a counter spin at times when it does not work. He flashes a swipe move as well but it needs work. Where he really stands out is his super high motor, that pairs with hard hits and an ability to really affect the run game. He may be the best all around edge defender in this class.... | |||

He has great burst and truly explodes off the line. Yet, he also possesses power to bull rush anyone on the line and hold up in the run game. His bend doesnt match his burst, but he is still able to get around tackles and use his hands to move them... | |

While he is on the older side for a rookie, he should make an immediate impact. He has great hand usage and possesses great chop/slap moves. He lacks power to bull rush but can set the edge enough in the run game to not be a liability. His bend is not the best and results in tackles routing him way too wide on outside moves, and he does not have much of a counter to deal with this. .. | |

Watching the tape shows more moldable clay than a ready made player who is much more developmental than the hype suggests. His combine testing was off the charts, yet despite this he still struggles to get around tackles and doesn't look insanely bendy either.... |

He has good burst and a good set of pass rushing moves that all need development but are there.He has power and athleticism though neither are elite traits. However, he had a decent showing at the combine and is rising up draft boards. He is very similar to Jermaine Johnson coming out of FSU, in that they both will likely impact the running game before the passing, but both carried upside beyond the production. That being said, Johnson was better and stronger in our opinion so he was a better prospect. | ||

Solomon had a ton of production in college, but will likely struggle to transition to the next level in talent. The upside is definitely there, but may take some time to get to his peak. | |||

He has good burst off the edge but needs development in almost every area. His pass rush move attempts are there but they need refinement. He was not an every down player for Bama and needs a ton of development, but could have the upside of a player like Van Ginkel whose roll has fluctuated but he has been decent as a pass rusher and off ball backer. | |
