2023 NFL Free Agency Day 1 Signings

This is our live updates with thoughts to be added at different points of the 2023 NFL Free Agency Day 1 Signings

San francisco signing Sam Darnold

Bears signing Tremaine Edmunds

Jamel Dean resigning with Bucs

Obo Okoronkwo to the Browns

3 years, $19 million

Steelers signing Patrick Peterson

2 years

Alex Anzalone resigns with Detroit Lions

3 year, $18.5 million

Jessie Bates signs with the Atlanta Falcons

4 years, $64 million

Bears sign Nate Davis

Still a lot to be done on the line, but a great start for Chicago

Vonn Bell signs with Panthers

Vikings sign Josh Oliver

3 years, $21 million plus incentives. Apparently he is one of the best blocking tight ends in the league.

Jawaan Taylor signed by the Chiefs

A 4 year, $80 million deal for the new protector of Patrick Mahomes

Texans sign Chase Winovich and Case Keenum, among others

Keenum signs a 2 year deal to backup either a rookie this year or next depending on what Houston does. Winovich is a 1 year, $2 million

Mike White signs with Miami Dolphins

2 years, up to $16 million. The Dolphins needed to get a higher profile backup, and they do just that.

Connor McGovern signs with Buffalo Bills

3 years, $23 million is the contract. Buffalo sorely needed to upgrade the offensive line, and this is a great first step.

Andrew Wylie signs with Washington Commanders

3 year, $24 million. Wylie leaves Kansas City and follows Eric Bieniemy to Washington. Great signing for the Commanders

Jimmy Garoppolo signs with the Raiders

The deal is worth 3 year, $67.5 million. This move is fine, we guess, but he is a step down from Carr, so what is the plan?

Broncos sign Mike McGlinchey and Ben Powers

Denver seems to want to start to new era under Sean Payton with a good offensive line. Even with all of the crap Russel Wilson got last year, his line did not hold up. McGlinchey’s deal is 5 years, $87.5 million. Powers’s deal is 4 years, $52 million. Paying up big but for a need.

49ers sign Javon Hargrave

It is a 4 year, $85 million deal for Hargrave. He joins an equally impressive pass rush in San Francisco that he had in Philly. Hargrave should continue to be a high end pass rusher from the inside.

Lions Sign Cam Sutton

It is a 3 year, $33 million contract for Sutton. It seems like an overpay, but the Lions need secondary help in the worst way, we expect them to be in on Christian Gonzales in the draft as well.

Panthers sign Shy Tuttle

3 years $19.5 million contract

Packers resign Keseian Nixon

A 1 year, $6 million deal for the All Pro kick returner

Falcons sign David Onyemata

3 years $35 million contract

Broncos sign Jarrett Stidham

2 years, $10 million for Stidham

Nick Gates signs with Washington Commanders

3 years, money TDB

Jonathan Jones resigns with Patriots

Reports suggest he took a lot less money to return to New England, we think he just wanted to reunite the Jones boys (Jonathan, Jack, and Marcus).

Jason Kelce resigns with Eagles

Was there ever a doubt? If they had won the Super Bowl maybe he would have rode off to the sunset, but Philly’s favorite player returns to run it back

TJ Edwards signs with Chicago Bears

A 3 year deal $19.5 million contract. Edwards goes from being a day 3 pick to getting paid, a pretty great contract for him

Chris Lindstrom Resigning with Atlanta Falcons

Marcus Epps Signing with Las Vegas Raiders

Chris Manhertz Signing with Denver Broncos

David Long Jr. Signing with Miami Dolphins

Alex Singleton Resigning with Denver Broncos

Duke Riley Resigning with Miami Dolphins

Tyler Matakevich Resigning with Buffalo Bills

Germaine Pratt Resigning with Cincinnati Bengals

Rakeem Nunez-Roches Signing with NY Giants

Andre Dillard Signing with Tennessee Titans

3 years, $29 million

Bobby Okereke Signing with NY Giants

Bradley Bozeman Resigning with Carolina Panthers

Matt Breida Resigning with NY Giants

Cody Barton Signing with Washington Commanders

Raekwon McMillan Resigning with NE Patriots

Isaiah Buggs Resigns with Detriot Lions
